Halifax Tactical Architecture

A two week Design and Build project on the Halifax Citadel in Nova Scotia. As part of the Dalhousie Architecture School Freeland, it was comprised of nine students, and lead by the duo of Brad Pickard (Saskatchewan) and Devin McCarthy of DSRA (Halifax).

Initially a grassroots, guerilla-style project, the public nature of the site pushed it into a full on architectural project, which included construction drawings, client consultations, and the engagement of a structural engineer.

To compliment my participation in the project, I made a time lapse video to document the entire process. You can click to watch the film.
